came across a great site in regards to living a missional life. i've been caught here for some time...contemplating what a missional life is. my denomination has also been making adjustements over the last decade in an attempt to better understand who we are called to be in this world. also, these thoughts have been haunting me as a local pastor involved in a local body of believers which is currently fleshing out who we are called to be and what that structure may look like as an organization. while it is no small task, i am extremely pleased with how our leadership is seeking God and exploring who we are to be in our community.
3 things i particularly like about 'friend of missional'. . . .
1. shift from measuring success as numerical growth only.
2. being missional is about people and passion first, not programs only.
3. being missional is more than just having a strong missions program.
